Let Afghan girls study and Learn!

Half of Afghanistan's population, which is about 18 million people, are women, and out of the total of 18 million women, about 70 percent, that is, approximately 12 million people, are girls and young women who are qualified for primary and higher education. Before the Taliban came to power, about 7 million young girls were studying in thousands of semi-high and high educational institutions across Afghanistan and benefited from educational facilities. Now, with the Taliban gaining power, Afghanistan has once again returned to the nineties of the 20th century, during the pre-rule of the Taliban in 1996 and women have lost all their human rights.

Now the Taliban have banned girls from education and women from all social activities. For more than a year and a half, women activists, civil society organizations, international community, world leaders have all with one voice asked the Taliban to open the gates of schools for girls and allow girls to study and women to work. However, the Taliban group did not pay attention to these demands and emphasized on the restrictions of women by referring to the verses of the Quran and other religious books. Mullah Haibatullah, the secret and unknown leader of the Taliban, has proposed all anti-women laws and implemented them by his loyal soldiers, and has not paid any attention to the demands of the Afghan people and the world.

Now, Afghanistan is the world's largest prison for women

The 43-year war in Afghanistan has turned this country into one of the most fundamentalist countries in the world. In fact, the foundation stone of this religious extremism was laid by the US government and its allies by establishing dozens of jihadist groups against the former Soviet Union. After the defeat of the Red Army forces, jihadist extremist groups destroyed all the cultural and social assets of Afghanistan. They pushed extreme Islam into the country's alleys and back alleys, and now all the people of Afghanistan, especially women, are burning in the fire of extreme Islam and religious fundamentalism. After the Mujahideen seized power in 1992 with the defeat of the government of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, until now the political power has been transferred from one jihadist group to another and each jihadist group imposes a form of extreme Islam on the people. The result of which is the complete exclusion of women. Even during the presence of the forces of the international community led by the United States of America, this deprivation was not removed and only 7 million out of 12 million girls and young women eligible for education were able to go to school and about 5 million were deprived of education.

The American government, which remained in Afghanistan until 2021 with the slogan of women's rights in Afghanistan and protection of women, but in the end left Afghanistan without any achievements and brought the Islamist and extremist jihadist group, the Taliban back to power. With the Taliban gaining power, Afghanistan became a big prison for women and the Taliban forced women to stay at home and refrain from traveling in the city and local areas. One of the serious restrictions against women, in fact, by banning travel in the city, traveling alone from city to city, banning travel abroad. With the fall of Kabul and all over the country to the Taliban Regime, one of the immediate and serious restrictions imposed by the Taliban regime was a restriction on women. The regime started to ban women from traveling inside and outside the country and as soon as they banned women from working outside and removed all government positions from women and replaced them with Taliban fighters. As a result of the Taliban immediately imposed on women, that now no woman can travel without the presence of a male mahram. According to what you see in the painting, Afghanistan is actually a big prison for women and women are treated like objects.

Women's freedom and compulsory Hijab

With the Taliban gaining power, not only the freedom of women, but also the social freedom of all Afghan people was lost. The Taliban government is not only an extreme religious and extremist Sunni government, but it is also a dictator and political and fascist group. Their government is based on extreme Islam and ethnic supremacy, and using the slogan of Takbeer, they commit any kind of crime. Now, the Taliban government, which is equivalent to the Islamic government of ISIS, is considered one of the most fundamentalist governments on earth. In fact, the Taliban and the Taliban government is another name for ISIS in Afghanistan, which has taken 35 million Afghans hostage and has deprived the people of all their social freedoms, especially women. Not only has imposed the forced hijab on women, but it has also destroyed the native and traditional clothing of the Afghan people. After gaining power, the Taliban imposed a mandatory hijab on women and set penalties for not complying with it and not following the laws of the Taliban emirate.

In the past year, many women have been beaten or imprisoned for not wearing hijab in public. Therefore, in the past one and a half years, the Taliban, after regaining power, enacted many laws to restrict women, and women were the first vulnerable group that suffered seriously when Afghanistan fell to the hands of the Taliban. Now we are on March 8th International Women's Day, but imagine that 18 million women in Afghanistan are living difficult days and suffering from the dictatorial, misogyny and gender discrimination of the Taliban regime. The Taliban banned women from the following activities: Education, Sport, Work outside of the home, shopping alone, moving in the city alone, Traveling alone inside and Outside the country and even going alone to hospital, etc.
