Counter Violence Against Women Campaign in Kabul

On 27th November 2015, female members of Asia Culture House took on streets of Kabul to say “no” to violence against women. It was a counter violence against women campaign and was organized as part of the national campaign to counter violence against women.

As part of the campaign, female advocates accompanied by male activists, stopped the “passerby” (s), gave them roses and even installed some on their coats and asked them to respect women, consider their rights and prevent violence against them.

Similar campaigns have been conducted by Afghan government, civil society activists, and women rights’ organization, every year since the fall of Taliban, in Afghanistan.
